7:38 p.m. ||September 06, 2004 Had my date Friday night. It went well and I had a good time. I really didnt want to go but forced myself. He was a nice guy, very funny and cute. We met near Boston, played some pool and went to a bar that had live music. We talked quite a bit. He is definitely a talker and very outgoing. I think there will be another date but you never know. He didnt kiss me good night. I was a little bummed about that. Although we were saying goodbye in the street and tons of people were around. He did say he had fun and that hed call me. Now begins the waiting. S and I were supposed to go to Marthas Vineyard Saturday but that didnt happen. We arrived late for the ferry and they were booked solid anyway. We could have taken the next ferry but would have had to wait around 3 hours. I suggested we head to Newport instead. We went there, walked around quite a bit and had lunch outdoors. We checked out a gallery that had paintings you could purchase for half off. We each bought a seascape. I love my painting, however my actual sea scape paintings that I painted pale in comparison. Ive decided I will take them off the walls and try to rework them a bit. Tomorrow I plan to do some painting after work. After Newport we were going to go out that night to Providence but I was too damn tired. I took a nap around 5, thinking I would be refreshed by 9, but I was still too sleepy. S didnt mind and just went to her boyfriends. They are back together which I dont think is a wise decision but its her life. Yesterday went to see Missy in Springfield. She told me about some new girl shes interested in and plans on putting the moves on. We didnt do too much. Went to the liquor store and bought some Corona, brought it back to the apartment we talked and she played some guitar. Today we went to Northampton, checked out some hippy shops and ate really good Mexican food. Now Im back home and glad to be here. Not looking forward to work tomorrow but I have to make money to replace all the money I burned this weekend. I think I blew through $200 bucks. Lets see how it adds up.... $31 gas all weekend, $12 beer from liquor store, $10 2 packs cigarettes, $6.20 total tolls, $30 total dinner out, $20 drinks out, $7 parking in Newport, $74 painting, $10 misc souvenirs, $4 incense, $8 pillows from Christmas Tree Shop, $1 pie plate, $10 cute dessert/sandwich plates, $5 AC Moore and $4 leather belt from Army/Navy store- well I was close actually comes out to $232.20- good god- I will be eating mac and cheese or ramon noodles all next week |
